INTRODUCTION​

Hello! Maybe you remember me, maybe not. My name is Francisco Fonseca, and I'm from México, I am 30 years old, and I work at the local government of my city. Because of this, I lost a dream, a dream of host my own server... Yes, as you can see today, I'm releasing my server Rookgaard Tales+ I spent over 12 years programing and thinking on quests for this, I really put my heart into this. I don't have much time for Open Tibia stuff or videogames nowdays...

Storagemap Problem

My server is having a problem with the following part of monster.cpp

Code: 
void Monster::addStorageValue(const uint32_t key, const std::string value)
{
    if (value != "-1") {
        storageMap[key] = value;
    } else {
        storageMap.erase(key);
    }
}
So we changed this part to .lua, directly in the server libs (creature.lua), as follows:

function Creature.getTemporaryValue(self, key)
  local storageMap = CREATE_STORAGE_TEMPORARY[self:getId()]

So I am an OT player from back in the day, and when I say back in the day, I mean when 7.6 was probably the most played OT version. I would like to catch up a little bit about the game but also about hosting a server. Back in the day we actually used only XML and just before I quit, SQL became a big thing. Now I see that C++ and Lua are a must and this gets me excited to try some stuff.

Who can tell me what's new and whats gone?

On a side note. All these years I have studied programming...

player invisible as warlock

I played a server who some vocations could be invisible as warlock monster is...
It was so fun, but server closed and i want to make like that...

Players was invisible to others monsters (who could se invisible, demons for example attacks and remove the inv), players
And the invisible removes when player get shot, in a area spell

I tried to make it, i dont know much, but there are a lot of requests about it here on forum so i put some scripts together i make it to work:

Well, my personal computer is fine, but lately at my job the occamy.c virus plagued all of them computers at my work... I don't wanna spend a whole day formating the computers and stuff, Isn't even my job to protect the computers from virus but I want to do something about it. So I was thinking maybe you could help me out to choose a fine well-protecting antivirus for nowdays. The computers at my job has microsoft security essentials only, so they are like unprotected, we all know that...
